Brand-spankin new online christian talk show

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

A fine young man from Mini-soda has started up an excellent christian talk radio station on line; he’ll be having podcasts regularly and after hearing the first one (still a work in progress) it’s excellent.  I recommend it.

This is the “When I get a round tooit” Creation/Evolution newsletter

traveling Creation Science Museum of Canada. If you do not see a

email program. This newsletter uses HTML and images.

If you’re really confused as to why you’re getting this, you probably
forgot you signed up for it, or you’re getting it via the truth list…
which you probably forgot you signed up for too. See unsubscribe
links at the bottom of the newsletter.
In this
newsletter:

1) Random stuff

2) “God delusion” suicide and atheist ads on
buses

3) Brock has too much time on his
hands: Does protein calculations

4) T-rex smells like a killer

5) “Complete Creation” almost finished

6) Texas Teachers supposedly want evolution

7) Academic Freedom Day

***********************************************************

1) Random stuff

Just got back from an intense, two-month long US speaking and
research tour. Did a lot of speaking, and a lot of
research! Ended at the Dallas TBN studios, where Dr. Baugh had me
on as a guest on “Creation in the 21st Century” for two more
shows.

I’ll be organizing the 2009 “Happy Birthday Darwin” US/Canada tour,
starting in Idaho in the last week of January. I’ll be on tour in
the US from late January through April, then a Canadian tour from late
April through June. Lots of events
being planned, stay tuned to these newsletters, and if you can organize
a stop for the museum, I’d appreciate it.

***********************************************************
1)  Something fishy with fish fingers
(The first two sections of this newsletter are posted in the science notes on my website)

Just this past week, an article came out in Nature magazine relating to Panderichthys, a supposed “fishopod.”  Bear with me - this is going to be confusing, but that’s not my fault!
If you recall, the evolutionary myth has fish evolving legs and walking up on land, becoming tetrapods (land walkers).  Hence the nickname “fishopod” - it’s half-fish, half-tetrapod…. or so certain evolutionists would have you believe. (more…)

1)  Not enough water for Noah’s flood?

August 8, 2008: Garland Juby 1948-2008

Saturday, September 13th, 2008

Garland & Patricia Juby

Garland & Patricia Juby

Garland Juby 1948-2008

Sadly, my Dad passed away on July 18.  While he had been sick for a year and a half, it was still a rather sudden and somewhat unexpected death.
I couldn’t possibly begin to list the many things he taught me, and obviously, being my Dad, he had a profound impact on my life.  My mother has been faithful to the end, and sat by his side throughout the last year and a half, including all 76 days my Dad was in ICU.  The Lord had me home when my Dad passed away, and so I will be staying close to home for the next couple of months.

Death is part of the curse that Christ came and died for - death will be the final enemy that’s defeated (Revelation 20:14, 21, 4).  As my good friend Carl Baugh likes to say, we do not say “Goodbye,”  only “See you later.”

Many thanks to the kind folks at the Ottawa Civic hospital (especially ICU), and the kind folks at the Deep River Hospital, who worked so hard for so long.
